TCS customers services at worse |
By Ashrafuddin Pirzada
PESHAWAR: Several customers have complained about the poor services of Tranzum Courier Service (TCS) in the provincial capital.
Narrating his ordeal, a local journalist Pirzada complained said the company delayed his consignment by one week and asked the authorities to take action against those responsible.
Pirzada said that he had applied to the Habib Bank Limited (HBL) for Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card on June 12.
He said that the HBL dispatched him the ATM card on June 13 through Tranzum Courier Services (TCS). He complained that the card had reached Peshawar on June 14 but the main TCS office failed to deliver it to the given address in Peshawar till June 20.
He added that he made several phone calls to the main office and also registered a complaint but no action was taken.
He said that TCS operational manager Hilal Khan told him on June 20 that all field staff was busy in field work and that, “You should collect the ATM card by visiting the main office in Peshawar.”
Pirzada appealed to the authorities to take notice of the poor service delivery of the TCS main office staff as they failed to provide timely service despite charging customers heavy fees for it.
The Manager at the TCS main office, Sardar, admitted the mistake and assured to take action against the responsible member for delaying the delivery.
Several other customers including a woman in the main TCS office narrated the same story to this scribe. They said they were also called by the staff members to collect their items from the office. Instead of delivering the items at their home address, the company called the people.
The woman accompanied by a minor said that she came from Gulbahar to collect her parcel. She said that when she reached the office, the staff members were offering prayers and asked her to wait.
Later, they started search and it took more than an hour to find her parcel. She posed a question as to what type of service the TCS company is offering to the customers.
She said that she had now asked her office colleagues on telephone not to send her items on TCS anymore.
