13 proxy Khasadars detained in Jamrud

LANDIKOTAL: Assistant political agent Jamrud paid surprise visits to different check posts on Pak-Afgan highway and arrested 13 proxy Khasadars,official sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that APA Jahangir Azam Wazir paid surprise visits to Khasadar check posts and inspected checking of vehicles at every check point.APA also arrested 13 proxy Khasadars who were allegedly taking money from the transit and other loaded trucks.The arrested proxy Khasadars were shifted to Jamrud lock up and cases were registered against them.Talking to this scribe Jahangir Azam said that they have been directed from the high ups to inspect all the check posts on daily bases and monitor the Khasadar and levies forces personnel performance.He said that they would not tolerate ignorance in duties and would be punished those Khasadars force employees who were setting at homes sending other men for duties.It may be added that dozens of proxy Khasadars have been performing duties at Khyber Agency which had earned bad name for the Khasadar force.
