LANDIKOTAL: Fata parliamentarian from NA-45 on Tuesday said
that tribal people would soon hear a good news as the government has decided to
replace the British left draconian Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) and merge
it in Khyber Pakkhtunkhwa.
Speaking to a gathering of joining ceremony here MNA Shahji
Gul Afridi said that after the years long struggle for the drastic changes in FCR
brought fruit. He said Fata parliamentarians have played an important role to
help give constitutional right to the people of Fata. Gul said Tribal people
rendered sacrifices for the sake of peace and security in Pakistan.

Khyber Agency as militancy had severely suffered the whole nation”, said Shahji
Gul Afridi. He said Shalmani,Shinwari,Mulagori and Afridi tribepeople stood
against militants and defeated it with all its shapes.
Lamenting over the poor performance of the former parliamentarians
from NA-45, Shahji Gul asked Landikotal residents that do not support those who
were living in Islamabad and consider parliament as inherited to them from
their forefathers.
Gul said work on all incomplete developmental projects
including long awaited Shalman water scheme would soon be started in the near
future. He said dozens of ghost teachers and other government employees who
were doing jobs abroad while drawing salaries in Pakistan were dismissed.
Shahiji Gul said that homework was completed to conduct Local
Body elections in Fata in early 2017.
He said that for the first time Fata would be given money in
the coming National Finance Commission (NFC).
Meanwhile, 2,000 former Ahle Sunnat Waljumat workers and
leaders hailing from different villages in Landikotal join Karwan-e-Alhaj and pledged
support in the coming elections.
