firing between FC and gunmen in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL: Unknown gunmen attacked on the Frontier Corps(FC) checkpost which was retaliated with heavy and automatic weapons in Khugakhel area of Landikotal tehsil, official local sources said Sunday night.The sources said that several unknown gunmen med-night attacked a checkpost manned by FC personnel in Khugakhel area which was retaliated by FC soldiers.The firing was continued for almost thirty minutes,however, no casualty was reported.A Khasadar official told this scribe that they heard firing for long time which both sides used heavy and automatic guns.However, he said they had no complete reports about the incident.
