JUI-F leader demands amendments in article 247

LANDIKOTAL: The jamiat-e-ulema Islam(F) leader Abdul Jalil Jan has said that amendments in the constitution of Pakistan was inevitable for the prosperous and peaceful Fata areas.

Abdul Jalil Jan, the JUI(F) Provincial secretary information was talking reporter here on Friday said that peace and reforms were  essential in Fata and the authorities should concentrate to bring peace and prosperity to the people who badly suffered militancy,ignorance and illiteracy. Abdul Jalil Jan said that after making amendment in the article 247 of the constitution of Pakistan.And added that it should be extended to Fata that the representatives of Fata people could actively perform legislation for their people. Abdul Jali Jan urged that PML-N led government should announce mega projects and insure transparency in the allocated billions of rupees funds being spent in Fata.
 Jalil Jan said tribal people were thirsting for quality of education, health and communication which could change the fate of backward Fata people.  He also urged the authorities to speed up the construction work on the Pak-Afghan high way which could play a vital role to boost the crippling economy of Pakistan, adding that the construction of Pak-Afghan high way would enhance the economy of both countries.
Abdul Jalil Jan assured the journalists of Landikotal that he would take up the Landikotal press club issue with concern authorities get started the construction on it.
Jalil Jan showed great concern over the miseries being faced by the IDPS of North Waziristan and Bara said that he would struggle send back the displaced people to their homes.
