Four militants killed in US drone strike on the border village in Nazyan

LANDIKOTAL: Four militants affiliated with Amarat-e-Islami Afghanistan were killed and six of their militants injured when a US politeless drone striked two missiles on their hideout in Charchanro Nao area in Nazyan border village in Afghanistan,sources said on Saturday.

The sources said that Drone fired two missile on a militants compound located on the Afghan area of Nazyan,which share border with Kokikhel Tirah area of Khyber Agency.

Six other militants were also wounded in the attack who were later shifted to unknown location.

The security forces sources also confirmed the attack and said that  the attack was carried out in Afghanistan's territory of Nazyan.

The sources said that soon after the drone attack dozens of other militants rushed to the site and retrieved dead bodies and injureds  perosns from the wreckages of the destroyed building.

Meanwhile,Zakhakhel Amn Lashkar,local famous as Tauheed-ul-Islam(TI), killed two persons allegedly affiliated with their opponent group of Lashkar-e-Islam(LI), sources said.

The sources said that the slain two persons,one from Bazaar Zakhakhel and other from Sepah area of Bara, had been red-handedly arrested when they were planting a roadside bomb to target the TI chief Munshi Afridi who was returning home after performing hajj. Sources in Bazaar Zakhakhel said that Munshi Afridi was the target of the rival group as he was on way home after performing Hajj.The slain persons were identified as Yar Alam hailing from Sepah Bara while  Hamzullah alias Abuzar was from Zakhakhel Landikotal.

On same day, A gun battle took place between the Tehrik-e-Taliban Muhmand and Orakzai groups in Salami Kandao area of Tirah valley,leaving three militants killed while seven others from both sides sustained injuries.Both the TTP groups had created differences over the unknown reason which led to an exchanged fire for some time.While on the other part of Tirah valley,Amr Bel Maroof and Lashkar-e-Islam volunteers came face to face in Mehraban Killey and opened fire on each other.LI gunmen took away three Amr Bel Maroof volunteers with them and shifted to LI controlled area in Tirah,however,no one was injured in the fire from both sides,the sources said
