LANDIKOTAL: The Khasadar force personnel foiled a bid to smuggle Indian medicines and cloth from Afghanistan in Michni checkpost,sources said on Sunday.
The sources said that aPak-Afgan dosti bus carrying registration (055) was stopped at Michni checkpost and recovered huge quantity of Indian medicines and cloth worth million of rupees.The owner of the bus identified as Zia Khan,resident of Konar province in Afghanistan was arrested and sent him to Landikotal lockup.It may be added here that the medicines and cloth being smuggled to Pakistan from Afghanistan has got clearence documents from the pakistani officials at Torkham border.
