After the Abbottabad commission report that Dr Shakeel Afridi should be put on trial for conspiracy against the State of Pakistan and for high treason the family members of the latter have been shifted to somewhere else from the posh Hayatabad. however, the wives of the Osama must be allowed to go anywhere they want. It was learnt that the family of Dr Shakil Afridi, who had organised a fake vaccination campaign in Bilal Town of Abbotabd to trace the top al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, was moved to an undisclosed location for security reasons. Dr Shakil Afridi is missing since few months for his alleged involvement in a vaccination campaign sponsored by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to gather the DNA information of bin Laden’s family in March 2011.
Dr Shakil had done first fake vaccination campaign in Mulagori area of Jamrud Khyber agency and then did so a private vaccination drive in Bilal Town and nearby areas from March 15-18 and 21-23 April. He had no informed the local authorities including the health department. Source said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has now directed all the healthcare organisations, private or government-run, to take permission before launching any drive.
