ANP wants change of Pak,Afghanistan foreign policies to restore peace

LANDIKOTAL:Former provencial minister and Awami National Party(ANP)central general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain Monday said peace could not be brought back to the region until Pakistan and Afghanistan not change their foreign policies.

Mian Iftikhar was speaking at croweded press conference here in Lanfikotal said that those who were in favor of mujahideen now calling them terrorists. He condemned twin blasts in Kabul killing around thrity persons including journalists. He said United States of America fabricated Dae'sh to defeat Taliban and acheive her vasted interests in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Mian Iftikhar said there is no "good or bad" taliban but Pakistan and Afghanistan should eliminate all social evils with mutual cooperation and coordination.

"Supper powers including Russia,China and USA are fighting in Afghanistsn but Pashtoons on both sides becoming victims of their war", said Iftikhar. He added that a large number of moswues,schools and other public installations were bommed in the past years. 
The ANP senior leader said he lost his beloved son and want to pardon those who were behind the klling if they stop further blood shed in Pakistan. 
To a question Mian Iftikhar said Pakistan is his father's country while Afghanistan was their forefathers' land where they want peace and prospeerity. He said if the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan was not controled he predect a thrid world war which would not spare life in the region.

He said  creating ISIS indicate that another form of militancy was trying to initiate.He said terrorism was not defeated yet but silenced the militants who could regain their power.

Regarding the Fata reforms,the former ANP minister said they want merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhunkhwa before the general elections. He said extention of high court jurisdiction to Fata was a first step which would pave a way to completely replace Frontier Crimes Regulations from the tribal areas.

He said ANP  support PTM demands but their harsh attitude was not acceptable to Bacha Khan followers. 

Mian Iftikhar said restrecting Torkham border severely suffered business between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He said if Afghanistan find another alternate route for import and export with India and central Asian countries would collapse pakistani markets. 

Mian Iftikhar Hussain offered his party role to play in strengthening bilateral relations  with Afghanistan. He said if Pakistan and Afghanistan gave them full powers they would struggle to bring both the nations closed to each other.

Mian Iftikhar also offered speciap prayers for the departed souls of Afghanistan blasts.
