Operation against cars with tinted glasses and fake board

LANDIKOTAL: After the killing of several persons in the past few weeks in Khyber Agency, the security forces and civil administration beefed up security and lauched clearance operation in Landikotal,sources said on Monday.

The sources said that Khasadars and levies force personnel have deployed at all entery points to Landikotal.
 Nek Amal Afridi,a levies force official told The News that they have established barriers at Charwazgay entery point,checking every vehicle. He said they have removed off tinted glasses from more then 500 cars and asked them to abide by law.
Afridi said they challaned and imposed fine over 15 vehicles with fake press,Khasadar force and custom agents number plates. He said they also fined several under-age drivers and issued them warning of arrest if they drive cars.
Nek Amal Afridi said political agent Khalid Mehmood have issued them strict directives to organize traffic flow and keep a close eye over the suspects.
Local residents and civil society members appriciated local administration for taking security steps in the area.

It may be added here that ten people including a Pakistan army official, tribal police and civilains were killed in terrorism related incidents in Khyber Agency in the past one month.
