LANDIKOTAL: Principal and teachers of a government-run High
school praised officials of the Landikotal administration for providing solar
system which could help run computer lab closed for the last several years.
Doctor Hanif Wazir, Principal of the government High School
Landikotal, told reporters that all the electric appliances and computer Lab
had been laying closed for the last several years. He said on their request
assistant political agent of Landikotal, Rahimullah Mehsud and political
tehsildar Irshad Ali took actions and approved a complete solar system which
was installed in the school.
Wazir said beside students in the school parents
also thanked the officials for providing electricity which would save precious
time of the students. He said computer was the compulsory subject but all the
computers remained off due to unavailability of electricity.
Students including
Nizamuddin and Kashif, of grade 8 and 9 and 10 said that many of the students
had left the schools as they could not taught computer in the whole session.
The students thanked officials and said that their time could be saved now.
