KHYBER AGENCY: Uknown gunmen shot dead a Khasadar force personnel in Ghundi area of Jamrud and fled the scene,sources said on Saturday.
The sources said that Khasadar Shakil Ahmad,resident of Sakhi Pul, was on duty when around 6 am unknown gunmen abmushed him and fled the scene. Sources said that those who killed the Khasadar also took away his Klashinkove rifle which was later recovered from a a place not disclosed to media.
The slain Khasadar had received multiple gun shot on his chest and died on the spot,the sources confirmed.
As the incident happened, Swat Scout and Khasadars rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. They collected evidences as proof and launched search operation in the area. Ghundi and its surrounding villages were sealed during the search operation.Five suspected persons were arrested from the localities who were shifted to unknown place for investigafion.
