TORKHAM BORDER: Former senator and renowned religious figures Hafiz Abdul Malik and former federal Minister Noorul Haq Qadri have asked the government to resolve the Torkham terminal dispute and compensate the affected Khugakhel tribe.
Talking to reporter, Hafiz Abdul Malik spokesman and president of Youth wing, Qari Said Alam Qadri said that he met the Landikotal administration officials and asked them to resolve the Torkham issue with due justice.
Said Alam said that Tenzeem-i-Ahle Sunnat Wal Jumaat workers would started a peaceful campaign to force the authorities against the occupation on the private land owned by Khugakhel Shinwari tribesmen. Adding that Hafiz Abdul Malik and Noorul Haq Qadri were also with the affected tribe and they would take up the case at all floors.
Qadri said that former Sanetor Hafiz Abdul Malik and former federal Minister Noorul Haq Qadri are with the Khugakhel tribesmen.He said without the consent of the Khugakhel elders and other thousands of tribesmen a peace of land worth billion of rupees was allocated to the Torkham Customs terminal but they were not compensated. He said followers and supporters of Hafiz Abdul Malik would started their peaceful protest if the Khugakhel tribesmen were not compensated in the Torkham terminal case.
