"Tension between Landikotal adms and health officials"



 LANDIKOTAL:Tension between the Landikotal administration,MNA and health officials yet to be resolved as doctors and paramedics at Agency Headquarters Hospital(AHQ) Saturday threatened to go on strike from Monday if political tehsildar and MNA not apologized for their alleged interference in the hospital affairs, health sources said.

The sources said that paramedics and doctors in the chair of Dr Ashiq and paramedics association president Abdul Halim held a meeting in AHQ hospital which was attended by 35 paramedics and  doctors. The meeting, which was continued for 45 minutes and attended by 35 health staff members, asked the Landikotal political tehsildar Daftar Khan and MNA Haji Shahji Gul for their apology. 

On the condition of anonymity,a health staffer in AHQ told this scribe that they would not let down their demand  until Landikotal political tehsildar and MNA not formally say sorry for their alleged interference and misbehave with MS Dr  Rauf Wazir the other day.

 Paramedics and doctors threatened that if political tehisldar Landikotal and MNA not apologized till Monday morning they would boycott from their duties, sources said. They also said that health workers including supervisors  would not perform duties in the coming polio campaigns.They said hundreds of their workers  and daily wagers were not paid their wages of last few months.
It may be added here that on Friday doctors and paramedics at the Agency Headquarters Hospital observed strike against the alleged interference by the MNA and political tehsildar in the hospital internal affairs.However, they performed their duties on Saturday.
