Young Jamrud wins first national feet-ball championship

LANDIKOTAL: Defeating favorite Punjab by 17/4 goal,Young Jamrud won first national feetball championship the other day.

The tournament was played in Gujranawal where teams from Islamabad,Fata,Sindh,Punjab,Baluchistan,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Azaad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan participated.

Team Coach,Haji Ghufran Khan told reporters on Friday that his team was unbeatable in the tournament. He said feet ball was recently introduced in the Khyber Agency where young players were taking interest in the game. 

Taufeeq Ahmad of Young Jamrud team was declared best player of the tournament. 

Sports lovers and officials of the Khyber Agency officials lauded the efforts of the players,coach and officials who clinched the national title on their name.
