Ban imposed on arms display,narcotics dealing in Khyber Agency

LANDIKOTAL:  The political administration of Khyber Agency on Friday imposed ban on narcotics dealing and arm display in public places,sources said.

Following the closure of three hundreds arms shops in Khyber Agency, the sources said that the Political Agent of Khyber Agency Sayed Shahab Ali Shah has issued a notification banning arms display in Jamrud of tehsil of Khyber Agency. People were noticed that if anyone found guilty would be arrested and would also impose fine.

Meanwhile, Landikotal officials issued notification and imposed ban on hashish and heroin sale and purchase in Landikotal bazaar. They notification had asked the people to obey the orders.The the notices were pasted on the walls in Landikotal bazaar had warned the people of fine and imprisonment if found guilty.

On the very first day of banning arms display, Khasadars force personnel recovered four Kalashnikoves guns, 11 pistols and three thousands bullets rounds from an alto car in Jamrud and arrested the driver. The arrested driver was sent to Jamrud lock up for further interrogation.
