PESHAWAR: To give an identity to its tribesmen a grand meeting of all Shinwari sub-tribesmen was held on Friday here in Bagh-e-Naran where more then three hundreds people participated.
A large number of elders,Maliks,doctors,politician,advocates,journalists and business community members hailing form all sub-Shinwari tribes took party in the meeting and shared their suggestions for the social and economical welfare of the around 20,000 Landikotal Shinwari tribe people constituted an interim six member committee.
The meeting, headed by haji Aslam Shinwari, agreed to have for registration with the government of Khyber Pakhtnkhwa.It was decided that the Shinwari Welfare Society(SWS) would free from politics and
religious affiliations.
Former Lady Reading Hospital Medical Superintendent(MS) Dr Alamgir Shinwari,former Naib Nazim Advocate Qubais Shinwari,haji Muqarab Khan Shinwari,Qayuum Shinwari and senior journalists Abdul Azam Shinwari and Ashrafuddin Pirzada also spoke on the occasion. They said that they would take up the issues being faced by the Shinwari tribesmen in Peshawar. They said that they would soon meet the Fata additional secretary and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor to discuss their problems with them.
The meeting constituted a six members committee who would carry on the union affairs ahead. he meeting collectively fixed T19 December for the next meeting and elect its permanent body for one year.
