New Security plan for Pak-Afgan highway
FATA: Following the growing attacks on the Nato consignments in Khyber Agency,offiicals revised security plan and deployed extra security contingents on Pak-Afgan highway, senior official told on Thursday.
 Assistant political agent Jamrud,Jahangir Azam Wazir,said that they have made an alert security mechanism through which special security teams would come in force as emergency happens.He said as per the new security plan every Khasadar and Levies soldier would perform duty for 24-hour on Pak-Afgan highway. He said that at least two fixed team of three security personel were deployed in each kilometer while mobile security vans also dispatched to monitor the over all movements alongside the road. " No relaxtation with the security personnel if they failed to perform their duties with wholeheartedly", APA said. The APA also visited to several security checkpoints in Jamrud and monitor forces on duty and routine checking at the checking points.Jahangir Azam issued orders to the Khasadar and Levies personnel to thoroughly check every vehicles and individuals,however, he advised them that don't bother commuters if they were not suspicious. 
 It may be added here that after a silence of one month in Khyber Agency,several militancy related incident took place in which six persons have been killed and several trucks were set on fire in Jamrud during the last two weeks.
