DISTRICT KHYBER: Secretary law and order Hasan Mehmood Yusufzai Wednesday assured a Khasasars and levies force delegation that Fata-KP merger would not suffer jobs of Khasadar and levies force until they complete job in the given legal period of 60 years of age limit.
Secretary law and order Hasan Mehmood Yusufzai said this while speaking to a joint 60 member delegation of Khasadars and levies force representatives from ex-Fata regions he met them at his office in Peshawar.
He said that it was rumour that Khasadars and levies personnel would be deprived of their jobs due to Fata-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa merger.
"Do not pay attention to the rumours and continue your duties while serving the land of Pakistan",said Hasan Mehmood Yusifzai while rejecting the objection raised by the delegation members that a plan has been prepared that Khasadars had no replacement in the merger and would be retired by any means.
Yusufzai heard the Khasadars and levies force reservations,suggestions and appealed the officials not to disturb their jobs.They said that Khasadars and levies force rendered sacrifices for the sack of Pakistan and fought side bu side with the security forces.
The official told the delegation that no one would be eliminated from their jobs and would be given them all due rights and facilities till their retirement.
"All the Khasadars and levies force personnel would gradually changed into formal police system through an organized mechanism",said the law and order secetary.He added that those who do not want change their jobs as police would be free in their decision to perform duty as Khasadar and levies personnel.
Hasan said they would arrange trainings for Khasadars and levies under the supervision of Pakistan Army in Shakas in Jamrud subdivion in Khyber district.
The official said Shuhada package would be given to Khasadars and levies force martyres. He said that they would recruite more 10,000 police in near future.
Hasan constituted a committee of Khasadars and levies force officials to further held talks with the concern officials so that they could smoothly pass on from the transiction period.
Talking to The News after the hours long meeting subedar Satar Khan Shinwari said that they were satisfied of the Hasan Mehmood Ysufzai assurence. He said they hope that they would complete their job and get retire on time.
