The security forces raided a house in Wali Baba village of Jamurd subdivision in Khyber agency and recovered a bulk of ammunition and narcotics, 45 arrested on the spot, official and local sources said on Sunday.
Taking action of a tip-off, Jamrud political Tehsildar, Shakeel Ahamad comprised a raiding team in the command of Subedar Gula Jan afridi and raided a house of one, Faraz Khan, in Wali Baba village.
Tehsildar Shakeel told reporters that they had recovered 2 kilograms heroin, 5 kilograms Hashesh, rocket launcher along with 22 rockets shells and a grenade-cop from the house of Faraz Khan. He said that Faraz Khan was running gamblers’ den where gamblers and criminals were usually coming. He said that they have arrested 45 gamblers on the spot and put them in Jamrud lock up.However, he did not say about the names of the arrested persons due to the security reasons.
