LI Chief reportedly killed in Afghanistan
NINGRAHA(Afghanistan): Chief of banned Lashkar-e-Islam(LI) Mangal Bagh Killed in a remote controlled bomb blast in Nangarhar province in Afghanistan on Thursday,Afghan media reported.
According to the reports, Bagh was killed at around 12:00pm in blast in the Bandari locality of Achin district when he was in his son's home along with his other relatives.
The bomb reportedly was planted closed to his sin's house main gate.
Nangarhar officials have not commented on the incident so far and also Mangal Bagh group’s also did not comment on the incident.
Lashkar-e-Islam is a banned militant organization had created in the border district Khyber few years ago and involved in attacks,bomb blasts and killings of civilians,personnel of of armed forces,officials,elders and other Pakistani citizens.
After major military operations by the Pakistani security forces LI gunmens and other militants were pushed out from the Pakistani soil while a number of Mangal Bagh gunmen were also killed in military operations.
After the killings and arrest of LI important commanders by the security agencies LI Chief fled to Afghanistan wherefrom he was time to time planned to launch attacks in Pakististan.
