Education could be used against terrorism:Speakers

LANDIKOTAL: Speakers at the opening ceremony of a school in Landikotal termed education role as the last option to root out extremism and terrorism from the society.
Al-Khidmat Foundation arranged an opening ceremony of its high school for boys in Landikotal tehsil which was attended by a large number of parents, students, officials, Al-khidmat Foundation office bearers and leaders of different political parties.
Speakers including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Al-Khidmat Foundation president Khalid Waqas Chamkani, assistant political agent of Landikotal Niaz Muhammad, Jamat-e-Islami Fata vice president Zarnoor Afridi, JI nominated candidate for NA-45 Shah Faisal Afridi, Ziaul Haq, Afaaq education research organization regional manager Zabihullah and others said that world developed nations reached at the peak of their successes as they gave first preference to education.
ANP leader Darya Khan Zakhakhel said that social evils could be defeated by educating their coming generation. He said tribal people were kept deprived of their constitutional and basic rights in the past 73 years. Darya Khan said world could not win war against terrorism and extremism until and unless not provide best possible educational facilities to everyone. He added that dual educational system was the hurdle that drew line between rich and poor.
The Awami National Party leader stressed over the civic education and said that educational institutions in Pakistan produce well-educated people but most of them lack social norms and respect of human laws.
JI Fata leader Zarnoor Afridi said they opened the first ever high school and would be upgraded into college within few years. He said it was a challenge for Al-Khidmat Foundation to ensure best quality of curriculum and extra curriculum activities in the school. He said that parent, teacher and student was the three tyres system that could give them a health society.  
Shah Faisal said that they would provide free education to orphans and hafiz-e-Quran in the Al-Khidmat Foundation School in Landikotal. He urged parents to enroll their children especially
Chief Guest APA Niaz Muhammad congratulated the students and parents and said that he would help out financial assistance for Al-Khidmat Foundation so that maximum poor students could be accommodated in the school.
