FATA: A soldier of Pakistan army was killed while two others wounded when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb in Akakhel area of Tirah Maidan in Khyber Agency,official sources said on Monday.
The sources said that Pakistan army personnel were on their routine patrolling in a van. As they reached Akakhel area their vehicle was targrted with a remote controled bomb device.
As results, lance Naik Jahangir killed on the spot while Havaldar Liaqat Ali and Sepoy Aqeel Ahmad sustained wounds in the blast.
The vehicle also destroyed in the blast. The injured persons were airlifted to Combined Military Hospital(CMH)in Peshawar.The security forces started search operation in the area.
