Human smuggling bid foiled at Torkham

 LANDIKOTAL: The Torkham border officials claimed to have arrested a woman who was trying to smuggling another two women and their children to Afghanistan for begging.

Political tehsildar Passport at Torkham border, Nek Muhammad, told reporters that three women were on their way to Afghanistan along with two children when one of them shouted to the Khasadar personnel for
help.Nek Muhmmad said that they then stopped all the women and interrogated. According to their statement, the official said, the women were being smuggled from different Peshawar areas to
Afghanistan. He said that two of the women did not know about the intention of the third woman who allegedly trying to use them as beggars in Afghanistan. The women were later shifted to Peshawar for
further formal procedure.
