Three ill-fated APSC students laid to rest in Khyber





LANDIKOTAL: Three martyred students of Peshawar Army Public School and Collage terror attack were laid to rest in their native graveyards in Landikotal,Jamrud and Bara tehsils of Khyber Agency on Wednesday.
Ammar Shinwari of grade-9,son of Lt-colonel Muhammad Ibrahim Shinwari,was laid to rest in Fatmikhel Village in Landikotal while a grade-12 student identified as Abdul Azam Afridi son of Ghaysuddin Afridi was buried in Jamrud tehsil amid tears in the eyes of all the people who attended his funeral prayer.Another ill-fated student of the APSC Peshawar identified as Mubeen Afridi,resident of Qamberkhel was also among the 132 others was buried in Bara tehsil,sources said.
A large number people including political party leaders,officials and civil society members visited the houses  of the aggrieved families and condoled the tragic deaths of their relatives.
All the bazaars,the government schools and other public and private offices were remained closed on Wednesday as day of mourning.Everyone without any discrimination termed the terrorist act as inhuman and the blackest-ever day in the history.
 The Khyber Agency Education Office on the directives of Fata secretariat observed mourning Wednesday and announced that all the government-run schools would be closed for three days.
Hundreds of residents offered special prayers for the departed souls and recited the holy Quraan to observe solidarity and sympathy with the families of the 132 martyred students.
Meanwhile, Dozens of Landikotal Degree Collage(GDC) students, led by students president Aman Ali Shinwari and Waqar Shinwari,conducted a peace rally and condemned the brutal killing in Peshawar.
They marched at the front of the collage and chanted slogans against those who involved behind the heinous crime.They asked the authorities to dispose off speedy investigation and  bring the culprits to the justice.
