Profl, Ibrahim urges TTP,Govt to continue peace talks

 FATA: A key member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan(TTP) negotiating team and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer , Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan has said if government strategy was to dismantle the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban it would certainly have both positive and negative impacts over the ongoing peace talks.

This he said while talking to local media at Loey Shelman,the Far-flung area of Landikotal Tehsil in Khyber Agency the other day. Prof, Ibrahim categorically said they it was not clear to them that rift among TTP was the government tactics force them to bow down before the writ of the government.
“It would be better position to continue dialogue process with unified TTP as talks with one group is not the solution of any issue. We have no objection, If the government and Pak-army want to break the unity of TTP and also successfully continue the peace talks but it needs sincerity and honesty", Ibrahim remarked. And adding that  talks between TTP and the government have been temporarily stopped. He demanded of both the government and TTP committees and army officials to restart the peace process in order to help restoring peace  in the country.

Professor Ibrahim emphasized over the continuity of peace dialogues and said that without negotiation there was no any other option to restore long lasting peace.
 Regarding the US and allied forces occupation in Afghanistan,Prof,Ibrahim said muslim including Osama Bin Laden and TTP former Chief, Hakimullah Mahsud killed in US drone strikes would be called martyred. During the ongoing insurgency in country, he said militants and troops have hold positions inside their country and killing each other which would settle down the decade long war in Pakistan claiming thousands of citizens including soldiers and other civilians.

Prof Ibrahim recalled upon the rulers to bring back their assets to Pakistan they have shifted abroad if they really love Pakistan. Regarding tribal people, he said, the founder of Pakistan had declared the tribesmen as custodians of  borders as they rendered sacrifices for the sake of motherland. He asked  the authorities to give political right to tribal people to decide their own fate by themselves.
