Ex-servicemen association launched in Khyber

KHYBER AGENCY: The Khyber Agency ex-servicemen announced "Khyber Retired Mulazimeen Association"(KRMA) which would work for the welfare of retired government servants. 

 Flanked by other colleagues, Capt(R) Muhammad Tahir was addressing a press conference here on Thursday said that they have constituted first fifteen members committee for two years.Adding that the committee would be dissolved when they complete membership campaign in Khyber. He said that ex-security force men,lawyer and mediamen were inducted in the committee to impart their good services. 
Regarding the aim and objectives of the association, Capton(R) Tahir said that so far 1,400 retired government and ex-security personnel have registered their names in Khyber Agency.He said that rupees 200 to 1,500 per month would be collected from the registered members as per their service pay scales. The KRMA chairman said that they would also urge women to join their association to protect women rights. 
To a question,KRMA general secretary Capton(R) Sharifullah said that they would soon announce Fata Retired Mulazimeen Association(FRMA) and said that they were against the political administration jirga.He accused that government jirga looting parties on the name of Kharcha. 
The first-ever ex-servicemen association members in Fata also lamented over the current budget.They said that 2014-15 budget was not as per the inflation which badly suffering retired people. 

The association office bearer said that soon a women wing would be announced to deal with the retired female government servants. KRMA members said that their organization would launch education institutions, welfare organizations at village level.They said a registered security agency on the name of Khyber Security Services(KSS) was already planned in which hundreds of jobless youth would get their jobs in it. The ex-servicemen said that despite the retired people's they would also work for the implementation of Sharia laws in order to eliminate the outdated Britishers left Frontier Crimes Regulations(FCR).
Senior Naib chairman,retired Subedar Sabz Ali,senior Naib President Capton(R) Aqil Jan,Deputy general secretary Capton(R) Abdul Jalil,legal advisor advocate Jamal Khan Afridi were also present at the present.
