LANDIKOTAL: Former parliamentarian and Tehreek-e-Takmeel Pakistan movement leader Shaji Gul Afridi on Saturday said that those who rising the" Lar Ao Bar Yao Afghan"(Pashtoons in Afghanistan and Pakistan are one)slogan want to destroy Pashtoons living on both sides of the Torkham border.
Speaking on the occasion oath taking ceremony here in Jamrud press club, former MNA from NA-43 Shaji Gul said they want prosperous,strong and peaceful Afghanistan.He said every citizen should collectively stand to curtail the dividing slogans.He said soon he would start a movement against the Lar ao Bar Yao Afghan slogan that negatively affected Pashtoons across the border.
Sajid Ali Kokikhel elected as president while Arif Afridi got general secretary slot in the 2021 annual election.
"I challenge all political leaders in Pakistan that i have contributed much more than them as trader,as leader and as politician for Pakistan, Shaji Gul claimed. He added that he would resign from politics if any one proof him wrong in his claims.
Ex-MNA said he did not fled from his home he was living in Jamrud in the decads long militancy.He urged political leadership and local elders to support him in his upcoming struggle he suppose to launch soon.
Former MNA said they would fight for the privileges and rights constitution defined.He demanded of the prime minister Imran Khan to step down till December 31st, as he weaken the government departments.
Shaji Gul said Imran Khan was a selected puphet to prolong his premiership.He said 2018 elections were fraud and stolen votes of citizens. He said Imran Khan failed to heal the Hazara community wounds they suffered in Quetta few days ago.
Pointing to the FCR era, Shaji Gul said gone were the days when every one could be booked for a crime of a person from a family. He said FCR had been burried years before which was the long awaited demand of erstwhile Fata peoole.
He said "Lar o bar yao Afghan" slogan destroyed Pashtoons both in Afghanistan and in Pakistan.
"I believe in strong and independent Afghanistan which is the basic essence of human rights and international law",Shaji said.Adding that his struggle for constitutional rights he was soon be launching from district Khyber.
Shaji Gul Afridi claimed he was the first politician at that time he supported border fencing with Afghanistan.He said neither him nor his elected party members did not steal a penny of Pakistan but contributed.
Peshawar press club newly elected president Muhammad Riaz Khan said the testing time for elected cabinet was started from now. He said journalists should highlight general public issues to address at different level.He pledged that Peshawar press club would be side by side with the journalists in district Khyber to take their financial and social issues.
Member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly Baseerat Khan Shinwari said she would take up journalists problems at the assembly floor.
