Torkham border reopened after four days



LANDIKOTAL: Pak–Afghan border Torkham that had been closed  during Loy Jirga sessions in Kabul and PTI set-in Peshawar was reopened on Monday for vehicles movement across the border,official sources said.
The sources said that dozens of trucks,loaded with different food items ,vegetable and fruits, were  stranded at Torkham border for the last four days were allowed to entered intO Afghanistan.However,no truck with Nato consignment had entered Afghanistan during the last four days.
The four days closure of Torkham border caused a big loss to the business of local people and a wave of happiness spread among them after the border was reopened for every kind of traffic. Local sources said .
When contacted the organizer of Pakistan tehrek-e-insaf  landikotal chapter , Abdur Raziq
Shinwari said that central leadership had not ordered us to stop the NATO supply line at Torkham border adding that the authorities at Torkham permitted only those trucks which were reached torkham.
Shinwari said ,they will stop Nato  supply line at Torkham if central leadership permit them for the step.
