FATA: Jamrud administration claimed to have arrested at least twenty alleged persons in the murder case of a Junior Commissioned Officer(JCO)who was shot dead by gunmen some three weeks ago in Mathra area of Peshawar, officials said on Friday.
Jamrud assistant political agent, Jahangir Azam Wazir,told reporters that gunmen had killed Gul Dayaz,a Junior Commissioned Officer, on August 2, in Mathra Peshawar and fled to Jamrud.He said that after gathering intelligence information they raided seven homes in Jamrud and Molagori areas..He said that Khasadar and levies forces cordond off all the targeted areas and arrested twenty alleged persons.
The APA said that Mujahid,Kashif,Wahid,Qismat and Janas were among the arrested persons and sent to Jamrud lock up for investigation.
