15 foods loaded vehicles seized at Bagyari checkpost

LANDIKOTAL:Officials of the Jamrud administration claimed to have seized 15 different vehicles of food items including fruits,flour bags and vegetables and imposed fine on each vehicle,Khasadar official said on Wednesday.

Jamrud line officer,Nawab Shah, told this scribe on phone that  on the directives of Jamrud assistant political agent checked permits of all Landikotal and Afghanistan bound vehicles at Begyari were checked at Bagyari check post.He said they found 15 vehicles loaded with ghee,atta,rice,fruits and vegetables without legal permits formally being issued by the Khyber Agency political agent office.He said that all the vehicles were barred at Begyari check post and fine was imposed every vehicles,however,he didn't disclosed that whether the foods were being transported to Afghanistan or to Landikotal bazaar as both are dependant on Pakistani market goods.
