PTI,trade unions observed observed shutterdown strike against blackdown

FATA:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf(PTI),traders and transporters' unions Friday observed shutter down strike against loadshedding and demanded forthwith transfer of assistant political agent. 

All the shops and business centers were closed as protest to condemned and reject the complete blackdown in Landikotal.

Scores of PTI workers,shopkeepers and unions leaders in Landikotal bazaar staged protest demonstration at the front of Landikotal press club.They chanted full-throat slogans against assistant political agent Dr Azmat Wazir and WAPDA officials.
Addressing on the occasion, PTI Landikotal chapter president,Abdur Raziq Shinwari, alleged APA Dr Azmat Wazir and Landikotal grid station officials for the prolonged loadshedding. Shinwari said PA Khyber and TESCO officials were setting in air conditioned offices in Peshawar while people in Khyber agency were compelled to migrate from their hometowns due complete blackdown.

Khyber transporters' union president,Muhammad Shakir Afridi, said in his address that PA Khyber,Mutahir Zeb, has deep rooted a culture of corruption in all departments. Shakir demanded of the governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that replace PA Khyber and APA Landikotal with honest officers to serve the local people in Khyber agency.Shakir Afridi praised the role of Frontier Crops(FC) commandant,Col Fayyaz on his best performance in restoration of peace in Landikotal.He said Col,Fayyaz apprehended outlaws and anti-social elements who had made people's life hard in Landikotal.

Landikotal Anjuman-e-Tajeran union president Gul Rahim said that Tesco officials take bribe and all the electricity of Landikotal is being diverted to the industries in Mulagori and Shah Kas areas of Jamrud tehsil. Rahim accused Khasadar and levies forces that they were violating the Peshawar high court orders and looting the transporters with both their hands.He said that Khasadar and levies personnel were taking money from each loaded trucks with transit goods and permitted commodities.Unions workers and PTI leaders threatened the government that if electricity was not restored before Ramazan they would be compelled to give call of completed shutterdown strike across the agency.They said that they would block Pak-Afgan highway in Khyber for all kind of movement.
At the end the the protesters marched from Landikotal press club to hospital Chowk where they dispersed peacefully.
When contacted by phone,TESCO public Relation Officer, Anwar Marwat, denied of the allegations leveled against Tesco officials. He said that they no enough electricity at the movement to provide elecricity supply to Landikotal.Marwat said that it was not technically possible to provide 24-hours electricity to Landikotal.
