LANDIKOTAL: At least five militants were killed while two others sustained injuries in a bomb blast Dawatoy area in Tirah valley, sources said on Monday.
The sources said the blast took place when several Mangal Bagh led-Lashkar-e-Islam group militants were gathered in Dwathoy area of Tirah valley of Khyber agency. As a result, five militants were killed on the spot while two others sustained injuries, however, names of the injured killed could not be ascertained due to poor communication system in Tirah valley.
Meanwhile, LI spokesman,Muhammad Hussain rejected the Peshawar Inspector General Police Akbar Hoti, said that Mangal Bagh was alive.
Different militants groups have been fighting since long to take hold of power in Tirha valley and Bazaar Zakhakhel tehsil in Landikotal.
