Wine seized at Torkham border

LANDIKOTAL: The Torkham authorities seized a huge quantity of imported wine while not allowed another container packed with Nato armors' shoes, official sources said on Sunday.
The sources said that a (C-3566) was on his way to Afghanistan was searched and recovered 324 bottles of imported quality alcohol.The bottles were concealed under the heap of hey, sources said, however, the
driver fled the scene before his arrested, the sources said.
Another container carrying shoes for Nato forces was not allowed and sent back to Peshawar, official sources said. Pakistan had stopped Nato supply on 26 November after attacks on Salala check post in which
24 Pakistani soldiers had martyred.
