LANDIKOTAL: A suspected militant was killed when he was placing a time bomb with a bridge went off in Sheikhwal area of Landikotal subdivision in Khyber Agency,local and official sources said on
Sunday.
The sources said that late Saturday night a man, believed to be a suspected militant, was fixing a time bomb device with a bridge in Sheikhwal area on Pak-Afghan highway exploded. As a result, he was killed on the spot.However, the identity of the killed person could not ascertained.
Later on Sunday morning, the security forces personnel and officials of Landikotal administration visited the site and collected the evidences for investigation.
Meanwhile, security forces conducted search operation in Khyber Sultankhel area and apprehended ten persons under the collective responsibility act of FCR and sent them in Landikotal lock-up, the
sources said.
