FATA: Khasadar forces personnel claimed to have arrested a robber at Bhegiari check post after he looted his father-in-law's home in Sorkamar area of Jamrud tehsil in Khyber Agency, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that Sherzaad, an Afghan national was trying to flee after looting Rs. 1.1 million and gold from father-in-law Baa Khan's home in Sorkamar area of Jamrud Khyber agency.
After the robbery Baa Khan filed a report against Shirzaad in Jamrud tehsil.
Taking action on the report, Itehad Afridi, Khasadar force commander at Bhigiari check point held the culprit and shifted him to Jamrud lockup for further investigation.
The reports says that the accused culprit during interrogation accepted the charges on him. The criminal stated in his statement that due to compulsion he was compelled to commit this crime as his fellows threatened him of being murdered.
Sherzaad accused in his statement that his other three fellows were locals of Jamrud tehsil who were still escaped, sources said.
