Hospital opens in Bara affter six years of its closure due to militancy



LANDIKOTAL:The Inspector General of Frontier Corps(IGFC) and the top Khyber agency officials Thursday visited Bara tehsil of Khyber agency and made the announcement of reopening of Dograh civil hospital that had been closed down due militancy some six years ago, official and local sources said.

Flanked by the Fata officials of various departments  IGFC visited  Bara subdivision of Khyber Agency where he also met with tribal elders and the locals of Bara tehsil.  IGFC Tayyab Azam addressed the gathering of local elders said that the days have gone when militants of different groups had terrified the local population,
 
The IGFC said law and order situation brought to its normal position.said the security forces would not allow any individual to disrupt the peace of the area.
The officials also announced the reopening of Dogra civil hospital and said that all medical facilities would be available for the Bara  residents who visit to the hospital. The officials said that rupees.8 millions have been allocated in first phase to launch the emergency services at the hospital. He said the administrative block of the hospital would also be opened soon to facilitate patiens.
The officials said militancy related incidents had badly damaged some portions of the hospital which would soon be repaired.
The officials added that Dogra civil hospital would be rehabilitated with complete health facilities under the Governor Special Development Project till the end of 2015.
