Strict action sought against dr Fazal Rahim

PESHAWAR:A score of parents of child patients have lauded the Khyber Teaching Hospital(KTH)administration and the PTI led KPK government for their timely action against Dr Fazal Rahim who was caught red-handed allegedly sending patients to his private clinic in Peshawar.
Taking action on complaints logged by the parents of children, the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf MNA, Mehmood Jan directed the KTH administration on Monday  and a quick action was taken,sources said.Dozens of patients and their family members chanted slogans against dr Fazal Rahim and in favour of PTI.They demanded strict action against him.
A team of KTH and PTI leaders raided the child specialist  Dr Fazal Rahim's  Out Patient Department(OPD) in KTH around 11:20am and found him guilty.Dr Fazal Rahim was allegedly asking patients through his servant that visit his private clinic. A man who brought his son suffering from chest problem accused  dr Fazal Rahim that he told him that no child would get treated without being visited his private clinic first.
Aslam Marwat,another persons said only those who paid fee of  dr Fazal Rahim's private clini were allowed to get medical treatment from KTH.Moeed Pirzada,a six-month-old boy was screaming in his mother hug.When his father was asked he said that the man standing on the dr Fazal Rahim's OPD door clearly told him that first visit private clinic then next time come to the OPD.
It was not enough but several other parents of patients alleged that they had paid Rs,200 each as fee amount to the doctor in duty hours."It is risky to wait more as my son is in worse healthy condition", a man who paid Rs 200  to get his child treated told this scribe.
The accused doctor was presented before the committee led dr Jandad Afridi.He and the complainers recorded their statements  and the committee asked the alleged doctor Fazal and his class-vi employee to report administration office.
Parents of the sick children and civil society members praised such action against corrupt doctor and said that consistently PTI  keep watch over the black sheeps in doctors folk who illegally earn money and play with human lives. Patients also thanked Mehmood Jan,the PTI parliamentarian for his honesty and dedication with his  obligation.They urged that people would support PTI in every poll as they never witness such honest services before.
