Nato supplier's accountant appeals for his life security

 LANDIKOTAL: An accountant of Nato oil supplier, hailing from Sadokhel Landikotal has lamented that the authorities have failed to provide security to local residents and business community as he compelled to wind up his business in Khyber Agency and shift his family to safer area of Pakistan.

 Talking to reporters here on Thursday Haji Akbarullah Afridi son of Swat Khan Afridi said he was receiving threats that he and his family are their prime target if he not quit the job and not pay them all his wealth he earned.
 Akbarullah said unknown people blowen up his home's main gate in Sadokhel last year and later kidnapped his younger brother Amirullah on pinpoint near from his village. He said an application is filed on September 9, last month asking the Khyber Agency administration for his security.
He said through an application he requested the authorities to provide him security but he still receives threats through unknown calls,mobile messages and written chits.He said that it would be irreparable economical loss if everyone quit their businesses there as several other residents including businessmen,social workers and journalists have already shifted to other safe areas of Pakistan.
 According to the application and the initial report submitted to the Landikotal administration,a copy of which is with this scribe,the applicant had formally informed the administration a month ago that he was receiving repeated life threats. The initial report prepared by the local administration,the applicant is working as Munshi(account) with Nato oil supply which caused him receiving threats.
 It says that the family of the applcant was under pressure and was passing through difficult time.The applicant said in his application that they were peaceful Pakistani citizens as they right to provide them security. After the passage of one month time,the applicant said,the authorities did nothing in this respect but still he receives threats.Akbarullah said he shifted his family to Peshawar but still he feared to be targeted.
 Akbarullah Afridi appealed from the the governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,political Agent of Khyber Agency and secretary Law and order to take a serious notice of the matter and save lives of his family members.
