Peshawar Airport attackers killed in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Agency Political Agent claimed to have killed four most wanted terrorists involved in high profile personalities’ killings and other major attacks on the security.

PA Khyber Sayed Shahab Ali Shah was speaking to a press conference here in Khyber house on Friday said they had received reliable information that few terrorists were planning to attack on the security forces in Bara. He said that a platoon size force was constituted and raided an extensive attack on the compound on August 14 around 10 pm, where the militants were hiding in Bara tehsil.PA said that after an exchange of fire they killed four militants and their bodies were shifted to conduct DNA tests for their identification.
Shahab Ali Shah said that the bodies of the slain militants were mutilated as they conducted DNA tests to affirm their identities and nationalities. He said that the killed militants were identified as Commander Jameel alias Jangrez, commander Shahidullah , commander Shahid all affiliated with Bella of Tehrik-e-Taliban Geedar Group(TGG) and  Commander Raeed of Lashkar-e-Islam.
The official said that the slain militants were wanted to Khyber Agency political administration and Peshawar police in different 132 small and high prolife cases including the killing of Frontier Constabulary commandant Sefwat  Ghayur, attack on Peshawar airport, Peshawar Church attack and attacks on polio teams in Khyber Agency and Frontier Regions(FR) of Peshawar. Shahab said that the government had announced a bounty of Rs 14 million head money of the  terrorists killed in the Bara action. Shahab added that the entire bounty amount was secretly distributed among those who shared information with the authorities.
To a question, PA Khyber said that soon Bara bazaar would be reopened and would encourage the business community to initiated business activities there.
PA Khyber urged the tribesmen to remain peaceful and said that they would not allow anyone to sabotage peace on the area.
