PESHAWAR:Pakistan Muslim League(N) Jamrud president Mosam Khan
Afridi Friday called-on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab
Ahmad Khan Abbasi at governor house.
Mosam Khan Afridi was with the governor for 30 minutes and
discussed the situation prevailed in Khyber Agency.The PML- president
thanked the governor for his moral and social support to the Fata
displaced people.
Mosam Khan informed the governor about the poor law
and order situation in Jamrud subdivision and requested him to take all
the local elders and political parties leaders on board if military
operation was inevitable there.
The PML leader told the Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan
that Jamrud residents were badly suffered from militancy during the last
few months. He said several persons including Khasadars have been
killed and more then a dozen of homes were targeted with bomb explosion
in Jamrud.
The Jamrud PML-N president accused some of the
Non-Governmental Organizations(NGOs)working in Fata that they hands with
the India and Israeli lobbies and trying to destabilize the country.
The PML-L leader told the governor about the deteriorated condition
of the schools in Khyber Agency and requested him for its
inspection.Adding that million of rupees funds had been released for the
state-run schools' renovation and repairing in current year but only 10
per cent was spent on the schools' renovation and repairing. He alleged
that the rest of 90 per cent amount went into the pockets of corrupt
education department officer setting in the Jamrud office.
The governor was also informed that the Khyber
Agency administration officials were involved in the unfolded smuggling
taking place from and to Afghanistan. He told that governor that at
least 10 million of rupees black money from the smuggling goes to the
Fata officials. He said Khasadars setting on the Torkham gate take money
and allow the non-custom paid items across the border.
The Governor was also requested to install a big
Qaid-e-Azam portrait(picture) at the Pak-Afghan border Torkham gate and
change the name of the Jamrud Commerce collage into Qaid-e-Azam Commerce
collage.
