Two teenagers injured in Landikotal FC firing

LANDIKOTAL: Two teenager brothers were critically injured when paramilitary forces opened fire on a car near Speen Jumat area of Landikotal subdivision in Khyber Agency, family sources said Friday night.
Said Nawaz, resident of Pirokhel Landikotal, was on way home along with his two nephews from his shop in Landikotal bazaar when faced the incident in Speen Jumat area.
Said Nawaz told this scribe by phone that due to Eid shopping they closed their shoes shop around 10pm. He said when they reached Speen Jumat area in a taxi car the Frontier Crops personnel setting near the road all of a sudden opened fire on them. He said they had not been given any signal  to stop by the FC men but as they were passing through them they opened fire on their car. As a results, he said, his two nephews identified as Abdur Rahim,12, and Abdur Rehman, 14, sustained several bullets injuries. Said Nawaz said after the firing the security personnel came to them and shifted the injured children to the Agency Headquarters hospital in Landikotal. The health condition of Abdur Rahim, one of the injured boy, was stated critical, hospital sources said.
