Night time movement restricted in Landikotal

LANDI KOTAL: The political administration in Landikotal on Monday imposed a ban on movement of all types of vehicles between 10pm to 5am at night time. 

Perceiving the suspected vehicles’ movement at night time in the various areas of Khugakhel, the Landikotal Political Administration asked the residents to take prior permission from the local administration and Frontier Crops (FC) while going out from homes between 10pm to 5 am.

Pamphlets were pasted by the khasadar force at prominent points in Landikotal bazaar asking the local residents to avoid traveling from 10pm to 5am. 
The general publics were directed to take prior permission from the local administration or local security officials in case of any emergency at night time.   
Assistant political Agent Landikotal, Muhammad Tayyab Abdullah, told this scribe that they had been reported the movement of some suspected people ridding different kinds of vehicles in the area.  
"People just have to inform the FC or political administration prior to getting out of their houses late in the evening in their vehicles", APA said and adding that the restriction was imposed to avoid any harm to innocent people mistakenly. He said three days ago two persons were picked up from their hujra or male guest house in Mukhtarkhel.
 
Tayyab said that there were reliable reports about the movements of some suspicious vehicles late in the night around the army camp and surrounding localities and the restrictions were put in place keeping in view the safety of the general public. 
He said phone numbers (211687, 210947) would be available for those who need permission in time of need.  In case of violating the rules, the officials said,  they would be targeted by the security forces.
