Two abducted in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL:Unidentified gunmen abducted man and his nephew from their hujra(male guests house)in Mukhtarkhel area of Landikotal tehsil in Khyber Agency,local sources said on Saturday.

The sources said that several gunmen,equipped with sophisticated guns,entered the hujra of one Gul Rehan when they were offering Taraveeh prayers.The masked gunmen dragged Shad Ali and his nephew Samad Khan out from the compound and bundled them into their car.Several other persons of the same family were also present but they could not offered any resistance as the gunmen warned them to kill if they resist.The gunmen,ridding in two cars,fled the scene without being faced  any resistance and shifted the captives to undisclosed location.

Later,political tehsildar Daftar Khan visited the incident site and collected informations from the eye witnesses.Daftar Khan told reporters that they would take action after they get proper information against the culprits.

After the growing militancy in Jamrud tehsil since last one month a wave of fear also spread to the Landikotal tehsil where for the first time two persons were abducted from inside of their male guests house.
