Khasadar injured in Landikotal attack

LANDIKOTAL: A member of the Khyber Khasadar force was injured when unknown gunmen late Sunday night attacked their vehicle in Sheikhmalkhel area of Landikotal tehsil in Khyber Agency, local sources said.

The sources said that a Khasadar mobile van was on its routine petrol when around 11pm few gunmen near Farooqia religious  seminary ambushed their vehicle.The gunmen opened fire with light and automatic weapons and fled th.e scene immediately.
  When contacted the local administration officials they said that the Khasadar mobile van was on its routine petrol when came under the attack,however, they said one of the Khasadar received minor injuries of  the broken window glasses.The injured Khasadar was rushed to hospital.
