LANDIKOTAL: Special advisor to Chief Minister for information technology Kamran Bangash on Friday visited Landikotal where he inspected a technical college built in Kam Shalman area where classes could not commenced in the past twenty years.
Kamran in a media briefing said that it was an fortunate for the past governments and a bad luck of the indegenious people that million of rupees spent on the building but it could not beneft the people in two decads.
He said it would be his prime objective to talk to the chief minister and soon it could be started.
The adviosor said they would start recruiting the college teaching and its non teaching staff. "It would be my first efforts to change the technical collegecinto Information technology centre so that students could get an updated and modern education in it", said Kamran. He added that in the coming days they would install generator and solar panels so that electricity could be provided for running the electric appliances in the college.
He said alarge number of local and other disteicts students would be given admissions in the college.
Speaking to a gathering of local elders the CM advisor said that he would talk to xhief minister Mehmood Khan about their genuine demands and would work out on its solutions.
Assistant commissioner of Landikotal Muhammad Imran Khan,Line Officer Swalzar Khan Afridi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf local leaders were also with the CM advisor.
