Firstever Sweet Home in esrtwhile Fata opens in Khyber tribal district

LANDIKOTAL: To help stop orphans from begging go into the wrong hands the Pakistan Baithul Mal on Thursday opened the firstever Sweet Home in erstwhile Fata in Naee Abadi area of Khyber tribal district.

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal mamaging director Aon Abbas and deputy commissioner of Khyber tribal district Mehmood Aslam Wazir formally inaugurated the sweet home. Colonel of Chitral Scouts Faisal was and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bait-ul-Mal director Abdul Manan were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Aon Abbas said that they were providing cloths,medical facilities,education and foods to hundred orphans in the initial phase. He said after the Fata merger doors for the development are opened in tribal areas.

He said they would ensure quality of education to the registered orphans upto secondary level. He added that Pakistan Bait-Ul-Mal would bear all the educational expenses of orphans till their master degrees.
The official said that it was the vision of Imran Khan to put at least ten thousands orphans in sweet homes across Pakistan till the end of 2019.He said so far 3800 orphans were benefiting from the facilities given in sweet homes across the country.

Abass said they have already established 24 other sweet homes in the country where hundreds of orphans were benefiting.He said it was an honor for him that he inaugurated a sweet homes established in Khyber tribal district which was the first one in all tribal districts.

A large number of residents and media persons were present on the occasion who lauded such noble cause by the government.
Meanwhile,the registered orphans children presented tablus,poems and tribal dance which received a huge appreciation from the spectators.
