Seven shops destroyed in Landikotal bazaar blast

LANDIKOTAL: Seven shops,dealing in mobile cell phones sets, were destroyed when a powerful explosion took place in the Landikotal Mobile market,however,no casualty was reported,sources said on Friday.

The sources said that unknown miscreants had planted an explosive time device in a market place in Landikotal bazaar,locally known as Mobile market that went off 3:20pm. The explosion was heard far and wide that caused damages to around seven shops.
However, no one was hurt in the explosion as the Landikotal bazaar get close after Jumma prayer every week. 
Ali Shinwari,a local journalist said that he was setting in the Landikotal press club with his other fellow journalists when the big bang of the explosion took place." It shocked the press club building for several minutes", said Ali.

As the explosion occurred, Landikotal Assistant Political Agent Niaz Muhammad tehsildar Irshad Ali Mohmand,Khasadars and Frontier Corps personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the Landikotal bazaar.

Bomb Disposal Squad collected the evidences and started investigation.
Search operation was launched in Landikotal bazaar and arrested several suspects. 
The mobile market was situated at few yards of Landikotal press club.
Talking to reporters Assistant Political Agent Niaz Muhammad said the explosion was of the low intensity to spread fear among the people. He said they have started investigation and would be able to declare that the act was a terrorism act or not.
