JUI-F leaders say they will agitate if Fata merged into Fata

KHYBER AGENCY(FATA) : Jameat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) central leaders have asked the federal government to announce separate province for the tribal people as merger of Fata into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could not heel the wounds tribal people suffered in the last six decades.
A large number of JUI-F leaders, supporters and students attended the oath taking ceremony of newly elected Jameat Tulba-e-Islam (JTI) office bearers held in the government degree college in Landikotal on Wednesday.
Speaking to a  oath taking ceremony of Jameat Tulba-e-Islam(JTI) held in Landikotal degree college on Wednesday,senior JI central leader and former provincial education minister Maulana Fazle Ali Haqani and general secretary Fata Mufti  Muhammad Ejaz Shinwari said that JUI-F was the first religious party that believe to serve people.
Fazle Ali Haqani said if Fata was being merged in KP would be injustice with the 12 million tribal people. He said his party was enlightened thousands of students in JUI-F run seminaries across Pakistan.
Mufti Ejaz demanded of the federal government not to merge Fata into KP as it would further increase tribal people’s miseries. He said separate Fata province would help maintain its identity and would provide an opportunity to struggle for the best possible livelihood within the available resources.
The JUI leaders said that tribal people had been ruled under the un-Islamic and unconstitutional Frontier Crimes Regulations to push Fata people back into the Stone Age.
They said they would they would launch countrywide protest and agitation if Fata future was decided against the well of tribal people.
