Pak officials present eid gifts to Afghan counterparts

TORKHAM BORDER: On the behalf of the Pakistani nation,Pak army officials presented Sheeps and sweets to the Afghan border officials on the first day of Eidul Azha at Torkham border.

Frontier Corps(FC) Torkham commander Major Tauqeer led the Pakistani side who gave two sheeps and sweets to the Afghan Torkham commissioner Qasim Khan.
Officials of both the Muslim countries hugged with each other and extand good wishes for the citizens of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Talking to Pakistan media persons, Afghan commissioner Qassem and Major Tauqeer said that Pakistan and Afghanistan were two brother Muslim countries. Afghan border official said that Afghan government and citizens were thankful to the Pakistan for giving them gifts on the Eid day.

Major Tauqeer told Afghan officials that Pakistan want brotherly relation with Afghanistan.
The Pak army official said they were doing their best to provide best possible facilities for those travelling to Pakistan.

People from both sides of the countries appriciated exhange of gifts which would help strengthen ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
It may be added here that Afghan border officials had also gave Eid gifts and sweets to the Pakistani officials at Torkham border on Monday.
